mech hanger bolt TPI wanted, for you knowlageble or cnc lads

hey all

having some bolts turned up for my proshift mech and after the TPI off the the mech bolt,

using a thread guage it shows 25 or 26

does anyone know if there is a standard thread? or know what it defo is.

have found this chart.

If its for the rear dropout, there is a frame tapping tool available... park do them I think... but I have got one you could borrow..

hey dude

not to tap the frame unfortunatly, its to cut a thread on the derailler bolt.

all sorted now, the cnc if off doing its thing!

Standard gear hanger thread is M10 x 1mm pitch, hence the 25/26 tpi being almost there (1mm pitch is approx 25.4 tpi).

Only since 1957, but I'm gussing the tools/parts in question are newer than that
