MCUs for Rock Shox Judy SL 1996

Hi,

I have a retro bike but am not very technical - any insight would be greatly appreciated...

I have been using a set of the above shocks for around 8 years (bought second hand) and the elastomers are starting to degrade. They are 96 I think...

Can anyone point me in the direction of potential old stock or alternative replacements.

Contacted a major spares supplier and was recommended an 02/03 Tuning Bumper Kit. It is a single MCU of the right diameter, would need cutting shorter and is for single sided suspension (so may be a bit hard with 2 in). Any opinions as to this being a good solution??

Not sure this is in the right place now but I came across the potential I could replace with Englund air cartridges.

Does anyone know anything about this.

Let me know if there is a more appropriate forum (can't see one!)

Englund carts would be a much better choice than putting crappy elastomers back in. Best bet is to search on ebay (US) also consider speed springs or similar (cheaper and come up more often) which is what I've done with my SL's and the difference is remarkable.
