30 year update!
The pulstar - turns out straight pull spokes are a bit more prone to failure at the head over (quality) j-bend, as well as being a pita to build with.
(I'm not saying they'll always break, and I'm not saying you can't build with them - just the 30 year long-term test average view
)The other bonded/ pressed up hubs, pace, nukeproof, shock tech i have only seen comparatively few, but I'm not aware of similar failure issues...
And do we exclude radial madness?
You'd design a hub differently to build radial as opposed to tangential, so they're off the map

One of my personal hope fatso hubs exploded on the bike hanging over my head - I had no idea what the noise was but ducked under a table just in caseAre there any unbroken hope hubs to review left?.
If so, will they survive the test? I doubt it.
- and to build another hub into the wheel using the same spokes forced me to go 2cross, because of its funny intermediate sf/lf flange width.
