MBK.......what was their top of the range bike

marin man

Old School Grand Master
In the mid nineties I had an mbk catalogue and remember some distinctive paint schemes but not much else.....anyone remember what their top mtb was....and what the frame tubing was..... :?

MBK.

According to Robert Millar - stood for Made By Klingons as they were such a dog to ride.

Only high end bike I know of from them is the Cofidis replicas.

Now owned by Yamaha and synonymous with heavy, excessively stiff and essentially nasty town bikes. You won't be able to buy them at my shop.

I think you are correct in your assumptions sherlock

I just vaguely remember seeing an m900 specced thing by them ...or maybe xt...something half decent anyway...and in nice flouro colours as well :?

What's MBK ?

Anyway, I noticed this a few days ago, I assumed MBK was just some stickers the bloke had put on ans so referred to it as that..
