Retro Newbie
Back in 1994 I puchesed a mbk grand touring cycle to tour france with my wife,I rode 10k to check it out,my wife told me she was pregnant and up the loft it went, untill I got it down last week. The bike cost £250 then,my question, was this bike any good? I will be selling but don't know if it's worth £50 or £500.Any help would be appreciated. It's basically a brand new 1994 bike.

Re:

As you say it's essentially new - try what used to be the CTC forum if you want to sell it.It may suit someone that doesn't mind down-tube shifters and older components generally. It's going to be a bargain compared with buying a modern tourer-there aren't many of them and most of them are several hundred and many more than a thousand.Try 200 and people can always make an offer.
