They look great, also never heard of them.Hey,
I just find this maxxis tyres, but did'nt find any information about this ones. Maxxis "Instinct" & "Gluteus" names. Someone know them ?
I have a pair of tyres that look very similar to those marked 'Natural', although no labels or other identifying info on them. Tread and colour is a dead match though.i only have some bad pictures of a Maxxis brochure from 1996, including also the Instinct and Gluteus.
Most of the offered models had been available in different color variants,
with different color combinations for the rubber compount

and in addition also for a stripe
I would assume yours are rare, to rare to find some more similar ones.
BTW: I do have a set of amberwall Maxxis of roughly that generation, without a name just a product code, and running a combination of Helter and Skelter tires on one of my bikes. The latter ones are pretty hard meanwhile, but I do like the style and sure, the name, and both sets do last quite long without getting porous or brittle.
