Mavic/LX rear wheel required - Got parts - Post CLOSED

Hi,

I'm trying to find a replacement rear wheel for my 1996 Univega Alpina 506.

Looking for a black (Parallax) Deore LX hub, silver spokes and Mavic rim (ideally 221 but similar will do). For canti's of course.

I've just worn through my second rim, and my bike dealer has told me i've got wear in my LX hub (= not worth re-rimming!). Has anyone got anything decent? Must have decent bearings and lowish wear on rim. Thanks!

BOUGHT A MAVIC XC717 AND A FH-M565 FROM THIS FORUM, SO THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO OFFERED UP PARTS ETC. CHEERS.

Got a black LX on a 221, but black spokes fella.

LX wheel

I have a black 8 speed lx hub with alloy rim and ss spokes. oe from spec. ground control fsr from `98ish rim isnt named but i believe its a mavic. good true condition. £20 posted?

Hey, don't get too excited, but I've got a couple of black LX parallax hubs, one on a 217 Sunset, one on a silver Mavic, possibly also a 217. One hub is good, one is a bit rough but I've recently re-greased it for a last hurrah. Cannot remember which is which... Both rims have seen better days though.

Good news is it'll be cheap & keep you going for a bit! I'll try to get a look tonight & let you know, thinking the silver has the good hub... maybe.

Possibly more use, or none at all, how about a black Deore Parallax in excellent nick? 32h & much easier to post! I'll post a pic & price if you fancy it? Won't be much anyway, less if you've any red or grey bits to trade

For some unknown reason I have all of the following:

rear LX parallax on silver mavic x517

pair black LX parallax on gold mavic 217 SUP

pair black LX parallax on silver mavic 230

Had this listed a little while back, but a friend thought he could use it so I held onto it. I think he found one in the end though, as you do, so here it was... :s

2: 32h Shimano Parallax FH-RM60 rear hub inc freewheel, slight scratching to the sticker but generally great condition, spoke holes barely look used
