Mavic freehub and sram 9 speed cassette.. Help.

Hey, I've just bought a brand new sram pc950 cassette and want to fit it to my Mavic crossrides wheels. There seems to be a small bit of play left in the cassette after the lock ring is tight. Now I've read that some free hubs need to run a 1mm spacer with sram cassettes. Could this be the case here? Opinions please. Thank you Rob

It's the 1.75mm Mavic spacer (or 2 x 1mm ones, close enough) you'll need as the Mavic body is overlong to take their special (up to) 10spd Campag compatible cassette kit and up to 11spd others:

Yup, just been reading about it on Crc, just wish I knew when I ordered the chain/ cassette. Thank you for your help.
