Really looking for just a rear, I already have a front and the front is 20mm thru axle fork which you can't convert an xc to.

What hub is on it? Might consider it if I end up sacking off the disc brake idea.

It’s a silver shimano parallax rear hub - probably alivio level - I’m away with work till tomorrow so can update you then.

Hi, sorry for the late/slow reply.

Just been in shed - on a quick count the rim is 36 hole and is grey in good condition.

Can send photos if still interested.

Thats ok.
Things have moved on a bit since the original post. I've found a disc adapter and the brakes are fitted, so unfortunately it has to be a disc compatible hub.
I might consider a 729 wheel but need to have a good look at one to compare.
