Wanted Mavic bb facing tool

Hello

Having preciously sourced and built up two mavic ssc bikes and then sold them, which i deeply regret i just found a nice ssc group on ebay

But, i need to access the Mavic bb facing tool to help fit the mavic cartridge to my Eddy Merckx frame

Can anyone help suggest where i can borrow/rent/buy such a thing or a workshop that might have one?

Whereabouts are you Simon?
Last time I had this challenge (was impossible to find a shop with the tool), ended up getting a local (South Oxfordshire) engineering company to cut the chamfer. They did a perfect job in a lunch hour for £10

Yes, good suggestion, if i cant find the correct tool i might look at ebay valve seat cutters and use a pillar/hand drill to bodge it

Alternatively i might try reversing the lock rings and just tighten it up against the cups and hope it holds tight

I have the correct MAVIC tool in my building kit.
