the 237's will only take a 7sp cassette not an 8sp one.

Any idea on the sizes of any of the seatposts (diameter and length)?

all 27mm diam, left to right lengths are as follows:

360mm, 280mm (cut), 340mm, 340mm, 320mm

All just need a good polish to bring them back to life.
