Man, this bike turned out great. We basically put a bar/stem:squishier seat off of a beach cruiser. Put those on a specialized hard rock. This bike turned out great to ride. My son rode it all day long. The bike was an unused time capsule, so all bearings got fresh grease, new cables to match bar location. My son was all smiles.

Let's see what everybody has been lashing together! It's pretty obvious that there's plenty of builds bubbling away at the moment. I know there may be a few build threads already but thought it might be nice to have them all in one hit.

I'll start the ball rolling with my '89 Saracen Kili.

It's destined to wear mostly 1993 Deore DX as this is what I had at hand, with some Mavic goodies thrown in for good measure. The 315 headset was just fitted recently to take the headset spacers out of the equation. Just waiting for a couple more smallest bits and it will finally be done...

I've had this 1989 MS Racing CR1 tucked away for about 3 years always planning to build it up, so thanks to a dead Cannondale project it has finally surfaced.
