I think it can be clearly seen in the original photo that they are short dropouts.
The wheel is as far forward in the dropouts as it should be.

Well they are not in the 1971 catalogue, so I guess not.
They looked short to me but now I am not so sure. If the frame is definitely from 1970 they will be the long version.

I found two cages in the box , I assembled

Many of the components here are post 1977. Brakes, seatpost, front mech. Can’t see enough of other stuff. Components are also anodize free, like the brakes which have been polished. It’s a stunning frame but not all original. Frame has been repainted. Short dropouts with portacatena holes not available to Framebuilder until 1976 at the very earliest. Brakes and front mech are post CPSC so after 1978.
