Marzocchi Z3/1 Flylight/Dropoff Hybrid, POLISHED!

Hi folks,

Another gem from my stash of retro bits. A Pair of 2000 Marzocchi Bombers owned since new. Very rare and original polished finish; they were from the factory like this.

These started life as 100mm z3 Flylight 100's, but I bought a pair of z1 dropoffs for the 130mm internals so these are now fitted. They have the benefit of the z3 air topcaps and I run 1 coilspring so the best of both worlds. (one of the dust caps is missing however).

They've just been serviced TODAY with brand new oil and dust seals so are ready to go! I've not used them in 5yrs or so.

Chromo steerer circa 190mm long with a SFN fitted.

Very good condition for their age, but have a few scratches on the legs. They also have the lovely and now rare Goldtec/BETD brace fitted; this is much stiffer than the std item.

Can be supplied as they are for £65 ono, or less with the original arch fitted.

I also have a set of excellent lime green z1 dropoff lowers and brace available if anybody's interested.

Cheers,
Rich

Sold! Thanks Simon :)

They looked great with those cranks Mike  I'll certainly miss these as I've been hanging onto them for years, but they're of no use just sitting around!

Assuming you're still on the forum, can you remember which parts you used to build these? Did you keep the Flylight stanchions and sliders, or use the Dropoff parts?
