Marzocchi Z2 Superfly restoration: FINISHED!!

Re: Marzocchi Z2 Superfly restoration???

Awwwww again. :D

Yep, the 950(shifter levers, brakes, hubs, front mech).
I'm searching a good 950 rear mech, until I found a good one, I will use the 739.

how about matching m950 cranks to complete the groupset? most pairs nowadays seem to have worn anodising on the legs but they are good cranks, i used to have them on my xizang. the ones with the spider i think look better though.

however i would recomend the raceface turbines more, id recomend those cranks to anybody looking for a decent 90s crankset.

I'm searching for a RacaFace, or Syncros...
The 950 XTR is looks good, but I think bit too pricey...and wear too fast, everybody say that...

Re:

Turbines, mmm I only have a few pairs of them well may 5 or 6 spanning the first up to ISIS era style (which are oddly my favourite styling of them)

Re:

Update: i wanted to know what condition the bushings are in before i take the forks apart so ive fitted them on the bike briefly with a front brake so i can test them... And... They're okay! probably the first pair of 2nd hand bombers ive bought that dont have knackered seals and/or bushings so im pleased. They're lighter than my fox forks as well and look the part....

Re: Marzocchi Z2 Superfly restoration???

So, we put it in.
Looks good.
But in the last 5Km, the air is gone, the fork is sit down. :S
Then I pump it again, and in the next 5Km it holds the air.
Tomorrow I will go to test the fork, in a bigger distance, with the pump in my backpack, and we will see.
But I'm not too happy.... :S

So by the end of the ride it deflates?
