For Sale Marzocchi Dirt Jumper III now £10

You'll get far more than that on ebay, retrobike is not the right place for these forks.
Yeah, I get that. I had a bad experience recently with eBay. I listed a bike that I clearly said was for parts not working and in poor condition. It didn’t even have a saddle. A guy turned up in a taxi, having got off a two hour long train journey with the intent on riding it away! In the end I had to get it functional and give him a saddle so he could ride it home!

On here so many of us repair old stuff, we have a better understanding of what we’re buying into. I’m happy with a tenner here with a clued-up happy buyer!

I also use ebay, so not all ebay users are idiots. There are idiots everywhere though, and exactly the same risk selling anywhere. If I were you, I would have just given the bloke the bike and let him deal with it - nothing to do with you, you don't need to cater for muppets. Ebay is on the side of whoever is correct. I've sold hundreds of things on ebay and rarely does this happen, and always had it sorted out in my favour (assuming I'm not the muppet!). If you advertise it correctly, you have nothing to worry about.

If you want to drop them round my house in Byfleet I'll sell them on ebay for you and then you can have more than a tenner soon.
