I bought one the year they came out at BIKE LIVE in birmingham. By far my favourite bike to date. Unfortunately it was stolen about 2 years after i bought it. I've kept a keen eye out online ever since in the hope that it would eventually be returned to me, but to no avail... I would love to build one up as i had it originally. Please let me know if you have one to sell... Ill post pictures of my original once I pick up the photos from my home town...

Many thanks

Jamie

thanks man, Its a real pain. Ive spoken to the guy already and he doesn't have the original fork and wants ridiculous money for it. im tempted just to get it anyway but itll be nigh on impossible to find the fork... bummer

Im not sure how much i can fork out at the moment. Im definately in the market tho. Is it one of the limited ed of 500? Is there any chance you could email me a link to some pics of the frames you have available.

Thanks

Jamie

the martin hawes replica frames were yellow purple and bits of red on the frame

was only limited to 500

same as my martyn ashton cannondale

Hi guys - I've got one for sale on ebay now. I'm just about to put the link in the MTB eBay & Marketplace Watch forum.

I have always presumed that the fork is the original one - it's purple and seems pretty light!

Jamie - I'm having trouble with the PM.

Ive been away for a couple of days.
I've measured it but there will be a bit of margin for error because I dont have a micrometer - I used a measuring caliper and then placed it against a ruler. I measured it at about 26.5mm. I had a look online and saw that Thomson do a 26.6mm post and there are more manufacturers doing 26.8mm, which it could be. I reckon 27.2mm is probably too big.

Cheers,
Andy
