Had a 2001 V5 a while back, nice throaty sound to the engine and pulls well. Main issue was its front wheel drive and with the power going through the wheels that steer too, it meant for frequent loss of traction. Especially when pulling out of a side road...still fun though! Mid to high 20's on the MPG, you get through the front tyres too.

Price is now £800. 80k miles. New tyres. Full service history. One owner from.new. Wheels could do with refurbishment. Slight dent in tail gate. Cloth interior. Not sure its such a good deal now.

depends if you need a car or not. If you do this sound brilliant - i wouldn't worry too much about the odd dent or the appearance of the alloys on a 14 year old car for £800!!

if you need a cheap car then much better to buy from from a trusted source like this with history than some heap from the market
