Hi everyone, please bear with me as this is my first For Sale posting on the forum, hopefully it should turn out ok.

After much deliberating I have decided to sell my Marin Team DH bike

I bought this bike 12 years ago and I’m only listing it as it hasn’t been used in ages (years). When I bought the bike I was told the frame was a limited edition run, but I’ve no idea now if this is correct, may be someone else could confirm if this might be true.

The overall condition of the bike and components is probably 9/10 as its had minimal use. The forks are almost unmarked with only a couple of scuffs to the stickers, the swing arm has been cover in tape from new, so has no chips or scratches from the chain.

The frame measures 19 inches from the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube, so I take it this must be a large?

No idea really where to start on price so I’ll go for £1000 ono.

The bike can be viewed just outside Colchester, Essex.

May consider breaking if I get enough interest, although it would break my heart !

this is an old thread but worth a shot how did you mount the hope m4 calipers to the forks i see you have spacer but mine dont does it make a diferemce?

My old dh bike has shivers and old m4 calipers, at the time (2001)I fitted some thick washers to space the caliper out🙄.
Was thinking of replacing that with a boost fork converter to space the disc outwards instead when I get round to rebuilding to reduce stress on mountings.

If your caliper lines up with your disc when bolted to the mounting you are good to go, with the hubs I was using I had a significant gap (pic for illustration)
which appears to be the same on this marin.

Boost adapters space the disc outward 3 or 5mm to fit non boost wheels to boost forks/frames, which seems a better option than packing the gap with washers/spacer.

Anyone else come across this issue with shivers? p4pb10238112.jpg
