I have what I believe to be a 1999 or 2000 Marin Team DH frame that I bought new in either 99 or 00, I have lost the reciept in one of many house moves since then. The frame was built into a full bike and ridden but not raced for a couple of years and then I stripped it and sold all the components and kept the frame to rebuild at some point. So as it's now spent more than 10 years in the loft I decided to part with it.
It still has it's original Fox Vanilla RC shock and 550x280 Fox Steel spring. They are both in good condition and the shock doesn't appear to have leaked.
The main frame is anodised gun metal gray and shows some wear marks from cable rubbing (as shown in the pictures) there are no cracks or dents in the frame, as far as I can tell. The original red Marin decals are long gone as they peeled off within 6 months of buying the frame. The rear swing arm is anodised silver and again shows some wear marks and has some chain rash, the gear hanger is straight and secure and there is a hope ER caliper mount fitted. Frame measures 15.5 CtoC and has serial number M820GNB247.
The bottom bracket threads are in good condition and have not been crossthreaded, there are also the upper and lower bearing cups from an FSA cartridge headset installed.
The anodising could do with a good clean as it has ingrained dirt and grease which is particularly visible on the swing arm.
I have no idea what it's worth, so I will put a price of £150 onothis will include 48hr insured postage. Payment via paypal please.
