For sale my 1992 marin palisades trail with classic black and flourescent green paint job. I've owned this from new and its not done that many miles. Its been primarily cluttering up the shed for the last few years.
20" frame (measured centre bottom bracket to top of seat tube) -I'm 6' and it fits me perfectly.
Its original apart from some necessary upgrades.
Rear mech: Shimano Deore DX circa1992
Brakes: alloy dia-compe 986 (the originals were just too awful) circa 1992
Tyre: crossroads
Pedals: flat/cliped
saddle and seatpost: replaced due to theft
computer: NOT INCLUDED IN SALE
State: the paint is original but well worn. Brakes, wheels, drive train etc worked fine last weekend (a short ride for posterity). Bottom bracket was replaced a few years back and required heat to extract the old one so the frame around there could do with cleaning up.
To sum up - loved and used classic mountain bike of my youth in need of a new loving home.
Bike is 3 miles from M25 J20 (chipperfield, near watford).
£40 collected.
I would much prefer collection, and to encourage you in this thinking, we can have a dig through my pile of old bike bits to see if we can come up with any of the more original parts if you're that way inclined.
