Hi guys. I am face lifting my old marin. Started of as a cheap option, or so I thought. I have swapped canti for v brake(shimano deore brt610) but have a gap of about 2 mm from the fixing plate when compared to the old style. Has anyone else had similar when converting old style brakes to new. Does this affect the brakes? Thanks
