Marin Nail Trail

I bought this new in 1996 but unfortunately barely got to use it in anger very often.
Apart from a few frame accessories it's as it left the factory, probably should think about new tyres though.

The one I actually wanted was the older nail trail and it was only after saving up for a year and going to the shop armed with the cash that I found out it wasn't available anymore.
I did have it fitted with gripshifters at the shop.

I'm trying to give it some stick of late though and hope to have some wear and tear on it soon.

I used to own one of these, It was a good bike, although the stiffest most juddery bike off road, to this day it's been my only flirtation with aluminium.

Maybe I ride super smooth trails as I've never really noticed any difference between the steel frames I've had previously and this.
This is the only new bike I've ever owned so was super impressed that every thing worked all the time.
Looking at my car history reveals a lack of comfort in every way there too.
