Marin Mount Vision Pro

I built this up last week - Not one for the purists as none of the parts are anything like what came on original spec!
Got the frame and forks off here - frame is 1999 model.
Forks are bomber z2 bams - I don't think you would ever see these on a marin but they are 80mm and red!
Decided to go with disc brakes - avid juicy 3
Got the lx Chainset from -je James. Not sure if it's nos or reissue but not bad for thirty quid.
Wheels are Dt Swiss that came off a specialized.
Rest of kit is all new, Deore rear mech, headset, hope seatclamp etc.

It is a bit of a curious mix of new and old but it looks ok and rides great if not a little bit heavier than the original !

Took her for a spin round Hardcastle Crags at the weekend.
Really pleased with how it rides and quite surprised how much trail it smooths out for a short travel full susser.
