On seattube as normal. The swingarm doesnt go low enough to be a concern.

when i bout a new set of forks i think they came with 260mm steerer
so maybe you will have to go new/uncut?

speak to dead rats see what he may have? he is a man of looooong steerers

Nice frame!

Some advice - try and stick to 80mm forks as they maintain the geometry and feel of the bike.

Also, I'd hunt a set of the Manitous out for it.

As for the front mech comments - it should be an XTR M952 bottom pull with the lower mount position. I actually have the exact one for sale in my thread currently.

Manitou SX Carbon forks are what would have come with that frame BITD.

I used to have have some Pace RC36 proclass with red anno bits on mine.
