thanks for the quick reply
i could have problem with the size as my inside leg is a only 31"
and the bike is being build to be used as a trail bike
so its goeing to get lots of off-road use
with regards to what youve said im unsure as how-to progress
as its not much point me building a bike that i cant use
maybe sell the frame and try and sourse another smaller one?

Maybe 17 or 18" would be best for you in retro world.

INDIAN FIRETRAIL UPDATE

just an update on the bike
after checking the size of the frame it is 20.5 with 19.1/2 to cross-bar
as said i was concerned about the frame being too big, but a mate also owns a IFT which has the same size frame i have and even tho
the saddle is an inch of the bottom of the post, it isnt a problem to ride
as ive had a-few days rideing his bike on trail/mountain and find the bike easy to control (altho id still like to-get a smaller frame if possible)
but for now ive decide to carry-on with re-building the bike for use
and wait for a smaller frame/bike in the future
will start another post as surggested and try and get some pics-up
as im probably goeing to need plenty of advise, especally from IFT owners
