Going to try and change it to a 1 x chainring. The seatpost is seized in place, methods tried so far:
Brute force
Penetrating fluid, wd40 and gt85
Acf 50 anti corrosion spray
Shock freeze spray
Soak with vinegar
Wallop with hammer
Another can of freeze spray

But still no movement

Re: seatpost. Frame upside down with seatpost in vice, plus my own tailor made freeze spray method has not let me down yet.

Where are you based, Leeds, my street? I will have a go at it.

Unfortunately I'm nowhere near leeds... I will keep plugging away at it. Got a vice i can clamp it in. Its about an inch too high. I've got a new seatpost ready.

i took a blow torch to mine and unseized it!
