Right STX 7 speed Lever installed, new cable with outers, 90% working! A brief 5 minute ride in the street to check it and the bike feels really good. Almost identical to the original STX SE part too.

So now needs other cable replaced and I'll do the brake cables as well. Or I'll clean it first....maybe...





Love those tyres! Nice on road but noisy, need to get the bike on my local trails...

Update:

Finally got the mechanicals sorted. Changed all the cables and degreased everything. Managed a fun 8 mile ride this morning.
