Back on the road and ready for use
I wanted this to be my bread and butter bike, to work, local runs and short tours (longer european tours will need stronger racks) also given I do not have a car myself this needs to be a tool for many things
So
Bearings replaced in wheels and headstock, wheels trued
land cruiser schwalbe tyres and tubes
Front crud guard
Rear and front racks
Gear/brake cables replaced
Fred salmon seat post
Marin saddle
Marin nos bars
Marin nos stem but with a 25degree rise for a more comforteable road/touring position
Marin bars nos with a rise again for a more comforteable touring position
Marin nos bar ends
Cube grips
Crossbar stickers being sourced from gil
Only thing left to do now is fit the un54 when I get a momment for that extra no worries..original will be removed,serviced and kept as a spare
Whilst this will be my daily driver I can now take time to look at doing a seriuos first project from frame up build in my spare time
I know the marins don't get a lot of love in here , even less when they are a daily runner but this isn't my first marin bear valley se and I do so love the marins
