Marin Bear Valley 1991 - REDUCED TO £75

20 ½ inch Marin Bear Valley that I bought new in August 1991.

The bike is definitely used but is in good condition as shown in the photos. It has mainly been used for on-road commuting (hence the road biased tyres) although it has had the occasional trip off-road.

The specification is:

• 20 ½ inch frame (I’m 6 ft tall)
• Tange cro-mo frame
• Marin Rockstar forks
• Shimano bio-pace SG chain-ring
• Shimano Exage 400LX groupset


It is almost all original but there are obviously some things that have been replaced over the years; tyres, saddle, pedals, bottom bracket, chain, brake blocks, front derailleur cable.

To be sold with the original quick release levers for the wheels and seat post and also security locks to replace them inc. 2 “keys”.

I’m looking for £100. REDUCED TO £75. I’d obviously prefer the buyer to collect (from Reading/Wokingham) but will post at cost.

Hi, the outside diameter of the headtube is 40mm and the internal diameter appears to be 1 inch.

I personally think 90 quid is a bargain... if I HAD 90 quid and some room to store it I would bite your hand off
