Here are the photos, finally …
they aren’t professional jobs but I have tried to do my best with my trusty (retro
) 4.0 mp Sony DSC-P9. They don’t seem to catch the main frame colour quite right, in reality it’s a bit darker than the pics suggest.
I appreciate my bike probably isn’t to everyone’s liking but it isn’t everyone’s bike ;-) its built how I wanted to build it and for how I want to use it
Hopefully it will get appreciated for the work I have put into it
and hopefully that doesn’t make me sound to much like a tosser …
The bike hasn’t actually changed much from how I rode it back in the early 90’s – colour wise, component choice etc i.e. I haven’t changed it to suit modern fashion / retro tastes etc. I have however taken the opportunity to add some Ti goodies that I just couldn’t afford back then and to put its condition back to (better than ?) new
It hasn’t actually cost a ‘stupid’ amount to build, because of the time it has taken
I have had the time to source the stuff when the price has been right i.e. the NOS Ritchey crank cost less than I have now seen used one’s sell for … Its been interesting (and worrying :-() to see how the cost of some of the stuff I bought early on has escalated over the time I have been building …
All details, photos and weight are with the bike set up perfectly for me and are how I will use it - the only thing I will add is a computer and a water bottle ;-)
