I just sold my Marin Bobcat today so I'd be on it.

Is the rear hub kaput?
Or is it just a spoke?

It's difficult to see from that picture but I'd be putting different wheels on.

Terminal for the hub, but on the rim brake wheels, the rim wears out, and costs more than the wheel, so the hubs can be picked up for peanuts (I've probably got one)
Then the trouble is getting the nipples off, which can be a massive corrosion-fest if they've been out on salted roads or sweated on by a triathlete
