An extremely high quality field this month, so far about half a dozen would be worthy winners. For me though the Lemond with the Mavic groupset is so classy and an interesting change from XTR/Cooks/Pauls etc. (not that they aren't very tasty in their own right).

I agree with ededwards. It's nice to see some thing else than shimano, Cooks, Pauls… They are beautifull item and dream brands, but only for Christmas, when the bike can seems to a Christmas tree.
All Mavic ! It's rare.

As we're drooling over Ti bikes, has anyone ever seen the photo's of this guy's trackbike? He would easily win the "most parts made from ti" catagory. Just check out the saddle...

But what hubs has it got? And that saddle takes the phrase 'like sitting on a razor blade' (in a Yorkshire accent, naturally ) to it's literal limits! :shock:

As for BOTM, I can usually pick a fave in a matter of minutes. Not so this time.......

It's hard to find a complete NOS Mavic groupset.

Edit: Silvain's bike is a French SUNN ti. This frame was made by Morati.
But I can't say the exact year...

For the sunn ti of Sylvain : around 1997…
I prefered his bike with the saracen ti fork on the front… But I remember he twisted it , there's 1 year ago :roll:
He has got an ibis too

Carstens Merlin is stunning. But its between all that lovely mavic on the Litespeed or the Funk for me.
