With the Grom having moved up to 27.5 we have silly amounts of 26 inch wheels in the workshop. Still run 26 on the jump bikes and my Cotic. But these all need to go since we need the hanging space for new wheels.

All wheels have ss or anodised spokes if black. See photos. All bearings excellent - we maintain them all the time. All wheels running true. All are nicely light and can supply weight if need be. All of these are excellent wheels, since we don’t tolerate anything else. Most hand built by wheelbuilders. Postage to uk quoted.

I’ve priced many of them at the price of the hubs alone.

If I could politely ask you to hang on to these for an hour or so while I enter negotiations with the bank account?

Re:

Dam that’s a good price on the hopes. One of you chaps is going to get a bargain and I’m not upset at all that 3 of you beat me to them.

Re:

Well it was a bit of a clear out sentiment on my part and that’s reflected in the pricing.. I always try to get pricing right ... even if things are rare I don’t jack things up to silly levels. As David Attenborough says, we need to use and not waste, and they are wasted hanging in the workshop unused.

Re:

Longshot possibly but if you have any rim brake rear wheels in 26" I need one to rebuild a retro GT I have :)

Would take a matching set if you have one. Certainly don't need anything fancy though and the cheaper the better.

Prices on these are spot on!

Re:

hi Indigo (great name) - regret all pairs of rim brake wheel sets sold off over the last six months - it's always bloody annoying when someone says 'but I have just sold these'...sorry..but it gives you an idea of what's floating around....

Nukeproof '93 on Mavic SUPs
Ritchey and WTB mid 90's - two sets
Mavic Dakar '91 on Mavic 231s
Hope ti '93 on Mavic 231s

These were all bearing-perfect and true and undinged, with low wear on braking surfaces.
Ritchey were nice and I think what you're after - I asked 60:00 a pair.
I think you might get some 'I've got some' coming from other members of the site since you posted this....or put something up on 'wanted'?

Re:

Specialized thru-axle front and Deore rear (actually a nice pair - I forgot they were built together...duh) now sold. Thanks Martin.
