BTR will make you a semi-custom frame with your choice of wheelsize.

Cotic did a run of 26ers a year or two ago: sold out very quickly. It shows there's unsatisfied demand.

There are a few who do, many sell them as kids bikes now and call them small wheels

They will never disappear completely, just hidden away until the other wheel sizes are established
