Manitou Mach V/V Sx Elastomers

Hello everybody,

Friend of mine is looking for elastomers for the above forks currently fitted to his Cannondale M400.

Personally I had thought fitting these forks to his bike, which is not suspension corrected beyond 50mm, was not one of his greatest ideas. The fork angle is now a bit slacker than is ideal and messes with the bikes handling a bit but there you go.

Maybe you could also suggest an alternate shorter travel fork with a 1" steerer. Might also a flexstem and the original rigid forks be a better idea ?

Your suggestions and help is always appreciated.

Cheers

Tallpaul,

VM posted on my behalf, before I got going on here.

Works been very hectic so not had a chance to do anything about them yet.

He's forwarded me the details etc, so will be in touch.

Did you have a set of the forks? If so do you still have a manual for them?

Cheers

No, i bought the springs/elastomers for a fork i was planning to get but ended up buying Rock Shox Judy's instead.

No manual either i'm afraid. Earlier Manitous were very simple to service and so were a pair of Manitou Spyders I had around 1999. I don't think you'd need a manual really :)
