Strange it has a crack and never used. Can you post a pic of the crack maybe?

Fitting a headset often cracks them open if they haven't been reamed to the exact size of the cup.

To be clear, I’m not questioning the condition of the frame as it’s clearly in excellent nick. My question is based on the use of “new old stock”. I’m intimately familiar with their propensity to crack under load, but the ad suggests it’s new, vis a vis having a headset previously installed which does not constitute new.
