That is nice, reckon that could go high, an uncracked Manitou is a rare thing.

I spoke to the seller of this before she listed it. She has two, this one is hers and the other is her Husband's. His is cracked (head-tube) but similarly well spec'd.

Good size, good spec, no cracks... £800? Possibly not with UK only shipping, but who knows...

Sounds as if prone to cracking - that's put ME off for starters! Why would anyone pay anything approaching 800 quid for a bike with such a known failing?

I'm sure it wouldn't crack if you didn't ride it

As has to be said for any such nicely built Manitou, crackin' bike!

What can you say. One of the nicest looking bikes of it's day and definitely one bike that will increase in value over the next few years.

BUT

They bloody break far too easily and if it was mine I just couldn't bring myself to ride it 'just in case' :cry:

Beautiful, apart from the riser bar. Not loving the front disc either, but both easily swapped.

Just enjoy it a few times a year and it'd be fine.
