The manitou hardtail frames are much more solid post 1994,the headtubes have more "meat" after that year.......

Also if you fit a looser headset ie not a drive it home with a mallet type.....it helps prolong their life

Love this bike. Frame and components looks so light used, so shines as new.

The only point that i dislike is the wheelset, but if you like it
