Manitou FS

Shidar

Dirt Disciple
Finally I completed (by the moment) the manitou FS with many pieces that I bought in ebay and the bike forums (includes this). I know that needs some components for be a genuine classical bike but with time I believe I will can complete.

The second phase is try to look for purple components because the rear suspension is a manitou 2.

What do you seem this bike?

Regards

are your cranks anodised blue with polished faces? I like!

Yes, at the first these kooka cranks were (I think) full anodized in blue but when I won them in ebay were in faded blue. I polished them and I prefer to maintain the blue anodized sides.

THe photos shown before and after.

I like them a lot! good job :)
Me too - nice touch to give a worn component a new lease of life!
It's a shame Topline SLS cranks are round - I've a well worn purple pair with silver patches along the faces :(

Thank you for your opinion...Must be patient with a dremel type machine, and many hand job later to polish. Only can do this, another anodized needed a full crankset polish...I prefer this bicolor shape, I think
