With the retro xc race coming back this year,i would love to do this as a reminder of the old days of racing(of which i rode national level for Royce uk)......Problem is i'm coming with my 7 year old of which i can't leave him on his own for the 30mjns or so of the race.
Is there anyone thats going to be there on the saturday able to stand with him and watch the race.
I know its still a while away yet but thought id ask before booking

Might be worth contacting Si Patton via Facebook, as one of the main event organisers he might be able to suggest a particular area that has marshals situated that your lad could stand safe and supervised

If you intend to camp/attend the event with the RB community, I'd imagine you would befriend someone that would be happy to help. Might just need to bite the bullet & sort this at the event, worst case scenario is you can't race. I wouldn.t see this being an issue on the day. If I was there I would help you, right now I'm unsure about attending. But in the past it's a safe event & we are a very friendly/trustworthy bunch.

We are doing sat/sun this year with the thought of racing sat and show'n'shine sunday. Hopefully someone will be able to help....
