Re:

Still aiming for this...

Hopefully I'll take some bikes, although they will all need tweaking, so I don't get my arse too badly tanned by the usual suspects on their brightly coloured over-restored poncey machines.

May see you there, if only for some abuse.

that was borderline fighting talk

we're two ends of the same spectrum ;) with plenty of peace/love/harmony in between

however there is a third (Darker) dimension where the sith lord of chaos hangs out .... the realm of THM

Re:

I certainly intend to be there, but sadly only as a spectator, as there are circumstances beyond my control.

Some of you may be aware that I am due to undergo major surgery at the RBH on the 3rd June. I am told that I could be in hospital for anything from 5 to 10 days, depending how successful the procedure is. When I am discharged, the plan is that my sister and bro in law will take me back to their place in Great Malvern while I continue to recover.

Depending how well I am coping, they are hoping to take me to the show. This will be 11 - 13 days after surgery, so I may be able to get about unaided by then. If however I am still somewhat incapacitated, my bro in law plans to propel me around the site in something suitable – Wheelchair, Tricycle Rikshaw, Victorian Bath Chair etc.

It will be a real boost towards my recovery to see you all there.

I hope your recovery goes well Pip.

I wont be there unfortunatly, it was either this or Mayhem this year. Chose Mayhem as it is more of a motivational target for where i am in my recovery at moment.
