Retro Guru
Hi, I have this really nice set of Magura racelines for sale. Working perfectly, original paint, aftermarket boosters. Some marks and paint loss, but overall a really smart looking set of brakes. Pads have plenty of life too. Front hose 45cm, rear hose 115cm. Does £110 including UK postage sound OK?

Now £95 including UK postage.

Hi, obviously these aren’t my brakes, but for what it’s worth I run HS33’s of the same age on a few trials bikes and they still work like new, this must be one of the most robust bike components I have ever used. Very easy to service, hoses, seals and pads are easy to source should you have a problem.

I wouldn't be worried at all about their age. I have a very similar set on my cannondale m1000 that gets used in all conditions and they are completely reliable. I also used another old set of magura's in the Austrian mountains this summer and they were awesome! They got me out of a few high speed moments...

This set is the nicest of my collection. It will be a shame to let them go, but I have too many retro projects plus a few modern builds on the go 🙄

In my opinion maguras are better than modern disks(if bled well)
When you think about it maguras have more time /area to stop the wheel than disks due to the larger diameter Of the rim
