Magura HS33 Restoration

Restoration going well, just need the decals. original were water marked so not sure ill get them so will remain plain until i find something suitable.

New cables arrived and will bleed them this week!

Cant wait to get them on the bike.

White primer x 2 coats
Fluorescent yellow x 3 coats
Plain lacquer x 3 coats.

Product brand is Hycote and cost £18.

Can be tricky to find a set of these without scrapes to the paint these days.
Will wait to see how the decals go.

going to start with Dot 4 as i have some left from when i did my motorbike brakes.

ive heard people use water! crackers in my opinion.

Hey there, don't use dot brake fluids in your Maguras. Things will stick as the seals swell.
They use a light hydraulic oil, the Magura own brand is called Royal Blood and is blue and expensive!
People in my experience, find Citroen Hydraulic Suspension Fluid just as acceptable.
