Magura HS11 on steel 90s trek multitrack 700

I've put magura hs11 hydraulic rim brakes:


On my 90s trek multitrack 700 (photo before installation):



Does anyone know if it is necessary to purchase and install the magura brake booster to prevent damage to frame and brake bosses (caused from force of the brakes)? Photo highlighting brake booster:

No need for the booster, I've run Maguras without one for 20 years on my tourer.
