Researched a set a while ago. Get good write ups. Frame purchase didnt come off and was only reason i didnt buy a set. Hard to come by i thought.

Get them if you can! If you get a set in good condition chances are 'servicing' them is something that will be a rarity. Weight is questionable - catalogue lists 1690g for the Durin X which tallies with my Durin M's (same weight as RS Duke..) Heavier than SID's, but soooo much stronger & track straighter.
It's odd, there's sometimes a lot made about the dual arch in reviews, sometimes not so much. I've never noticed it when riding Maguras, but do notice it when you jump onto a bike with SID's or Dukes straight after! Turning in once and not having to adjust your line is nice ;)

They're also, with the right setup VERY plush for an air fork, after a liiiitle initial stiction. If you set the air pressures right tho you can use this as a dynamic lockout (to use Magura terms!), so even leaning on the bars and cranking up a hill won't have the forks bobbing, but you can get it so they float over small bumpy surfaces but still absorb bigger hits too without springing up & trying to throw you off! ;)
The Laurins I have without the Albert Select cartridge tend to dive a little under emergency-hard braking, but hey, small issues..

Small stuff with Magura you don't notice, and it rarely reviewed, but.. lower-leg rebound adjusters are metal, and knurled so don't break. Air caps and adjuster knobs are made of metal, the dropouts are always reinforced with stainless plating, hose guides are replaceable (weak point as they do often break!) and the seals are great! The forks often seep a little oil onto the stanchions, but in Magura's case it's not a big deal (honest!). I've also had an older set of Ronins in a garage for 9 months (inc over winter) and they didn't leak or lose pressure and were ready to go as soon as I uncovered the bike. Perhaps the build quality has perhaps dropped from those (pre dual-arch) days, but I would say they are just the 'hidden' gem of the world of suspension.
