I was digging in my shed to look for some parts for a current build. These were kept in the dark for so long and the ano still looks fresh. Now I'll have to find the bb and tool somewhere in the shed too.
I had a set of the originals. I paid $1000 at the time for them and they had a lot of titanium metric allen head bolts on the back side to hold the rings in place and were all purple. When I went to take them off my Super V I couldn't since they seemed to be seized in the frame so I took it to the dealer. Cannondale basically bought them back from me and gave me the updated version with standard rings that were in a showcase on the floor for $950 at the time. They claimed they would have to break them to remove them. I stated that they had a lifetime warranty so if they break them they bought them. The biggest problem were the rings were soft aluminum that didn't hold well. I still have the updated version on my bike today.....
