Made a Rear Brake Adaptor for Parallel mount/Klein bikes

Almost looks as though it is on back to front, if the higher end of the mount was towards the front of the frame the fit would be better. (I realise the caliper would need some serious spacing on the mount to align it.) I would be a little concerned about the additional leverage your mount puts on the frame though.

The reason he did it like that is because his shimano brake wouldn't fit within the rear triangle. Just seen it all fitted and it has no flex and works really well.

A million times better :D the cut out holes really make it look the part

Staggered sizes too  Attention to detail

Lol, are these pads even biting on the disc?????

With those adaptors you need to increase the disc size by 20mm. I got around it by using a front caliper on the rear.

Yep :D and if you look closely you'll notice even tho the holes increase from 10, 13mm and 16mm, each hole still has exactly 5mm of material left from the edge of the hole to the edge of the adaptor! :) And also the spacing incrementally gets larger from hole to hole in order to keep the same gap between them
Attention to detail i guess.

I've done welding a few years BTW ;)

I spent a couple of hours at work today making a rear brake adaptor for my Klein Attitude comp, which up till now has had the original Hayes parallel fitment calliper on it.
This is a solid bit of kit, and is way better than the current offerings. :D
Hi do you sell this adaptor or is it possible to make one like this for me ?
