How do you measure an inside leg? Is it the middle one? If so that's personal but it's very long
If it's one of the side ones, about 31" according to my M&S breeks.

your reference to the Humber having a key for a lock reminds me that my brother, when we were teenagers, was given a bike by one of our neighbours, an old couple who lived up the street. I seem to remember it having a lock on the fork near headset with a flat plate on headtube that the lock locked into. It was an old upright bike like the Humber, weighed a ton, with a chainguard too, and mudguards that were painted white at ends.
Were there other bikes of that era that had similar locks?
