I'm hoping make it however got a torn calf muscle on left leg and struggling to walk never mind ride a bike.
It was really tight for weeks and on the verge of cramping every time I rode the bike. Then I went on a training course at work and when doing a thrust kick I felt it go .
So taking it easy and hope it will be better by the 18th.

Laziness means I'll just drag one of my heaps off the heap. Probably be the Emmelle as I've just replaced the rear wheel after the old one shed spokes and went all wobbly last night. Ah the joys of old bikes :roll:

I'm in, plus probably bring a mate of mine. Took the Appalachian out for it's first ride today to make sure everything is working as it should in preparation for this one (link in my signature for pics). First time riding clips and straps for 20 something years :shock: but it was all fine (like riding a bike, you never forget ).

Expect to be there, been struggling for ride time recently and therefore haven't had the time to do the bike prep I'd hoped to.
